Discover two of Catalonia's most beautiful medieval villages on a private walking tour through centuries of history, stone architecture and unforgettable landscapes.
Pals rises above the Empordà countryside and preserves an extraordinary medieval atmosphere. We will walk through its cobbled streets, stone arches and historic squares, see the famous Tower of the Hours and discover beautifully preserved houses while enjoying panoramic views over the surrounding countryside.
Peratallada is another remarkable medieval village, famous for its stone buildings, defensive walls, narrow winding streets and impressive castle. Its name is connected with the rock from which parts of the village were carved, and walking through its historic centre feels like travelling back in time.
The itinerary can be adapted depending on which village or villages you would like to visit. The meeting point is directly in the village where the tour begins.

Discover Besalú, one of Catalonia's most beautiful and best-preserved medieval towns. Its spectacular fortified bridge over the Fluvià River creates one of the most unforgettable entrances to a medieval town in Catalonia.
During our private walking tour, we will explore Besalú's cobbled streets, medieval squares, historic stone houses and religious monuments while discovering the stories of the people who lived here centuries ago.
Besalú also preserves an exceptional Jewish heritage. We will explore the former Jewish quarter and learn about the medieval Jewish community that formed an important part of the town's history. One of Besalú's greatest treasures is its medieval mikveh, a Jewish ritual bath and one of the most remarkable surviving examples of its kind in Europe.
If the mikveh is open and accessible at the time of your visit, it may be possible to include it in the tour. Any entrance ticket or reservation required for the visit is separate from the tour price.
The tour begins directly in Besalú, where we will meet at an agreed meeting point before starting our walk through the medieval town.
