Lloret de Mar is much more than beaches. Behind its famous coastline lies a fascinating history, beautiful architecture and one of the most interesting Indianos, or Americanos, legacies on the Costa Brava.
During the 19th century, many people from Lloret left Catalonia for the Spanish colonies in the Americas, particularly Cuba. Some made considerable fortunes overseas and later returned home. Known locally as Indianos or Americanos, they invested their wealth in impressive houses, public buildings, religious projects and other works that transformed the appearance of Lloret de Mar. Much of this rich heritage can still be discovered in the town today.

Discover the charming coastal town of Cadaqués, one of the most distinctive places on the Costa Brava. Its whitewashed houses, narrow streets, rocky landscape and Mediterranean views have attracted generations of artists and visitors.
Cadaqués is inseparably connected with Salvador Dalí. He spent his childhood summers here and later made nearby Portlligat his home and workplace. During our tour, we can discover the streets and landscapes that inspired him and walk through a town that still preserves its unmistakable artistic character.
We can also visit nearby Portlligat and see the surroundings of Salvador Dalí's house. If you would like to visit the interior of the Salvador Dalí House-Museum, a separate timed ticket is required and advance reservation is mandatory because visits are organised in small groups.
